Law of Karma

If we start asking some questions to ourselves like ,
why did i born only in this family? why not in a family of rich or why not in family of poor? why i am born physically challenged or so strong ?why i am fair? why i am black?
Is my birth in this family & condition, is matter of chance?
Some times in life we experience,in spite of Herculean effort we fail to get results and sometimes with not much effort we enjoy good results.Many times in life we experience, with no mistakes of us we have to face many problems.Does this happen just by chance? If we start thinking in more depth we start feeling that there is some law or some force which is governing all these happenings in our day to day life.
And what is that law?? Its nothing but law of karma(law of action and reaction).
Newtons third law as stated "For every action , there is a equal and opposite reaction",not only applies for science but also its true for our day to day action.
The reaction may be a bit late , but its bound to come back.
Bhagavan sri sathya saibaba say's every action will have reflection , reaction and resound.Every one has to face consequence of his action, whoever he may be.
So only our ancient texts say "Daiva preeti , papa bheti".Have fear of sin or bad actions.
At the time we perform action we may not feel what we are doing is wrong,because some time we perform action by external impulse,what we see or what we hear.And many a times we repent a lot later.
But law of karma is very strict.If a person unknowingly or knowingly touches fire he will get burnt, so also our actions done knowingly or accidently we are bound to face reaction good or bad.So only baba always suggest us to avoid bad thoughts in mind so that chances of doing wrong impulsive actions will be less.
I think law of karma is accepted by all religions in the world.Though they explain it in different way.In Hindu religion "Garuda Purana" explains different punishments for different bad actions.Islam and Christianity belives in judgement day.And many saints and sages tell same thing in simple way , as basavanna say' "Good Action is heaven , Bad action is hell".In hindi there is a saying "Jaisi karni , waisi bharni"(as is the action , so are the results).

Some times we may be wondering , many peoples who are strong enough financially and politically in society ,commit many wrong actions ,in spite of it they reap good results and even worse thing is they become more and more rich and strong.By seeing such things we may feel that no such law is there.But in fact these people will be enjoying good results of good karma they did long back in past , may be in past life.But there is no excuse for them for bad karma's they have been doing now.They will face the reaction in future may be far as in next incarnation.So only, Saibaba say's
"Present is product of past , and is also a seed for future".

Its not possible for anyone of us to escape from law of karma.Because its rule in game.If we have accepted to play game of life we should follow rules too.Say in cricket if a player is out, we wont say player to play again ,if it happens so there will be no fun in game.So also in our lives.

Law of karma is very tough.We dont know what's in our plate tomorrow.The life we enjoy , friends we trust and family we love today may show its cruel face tomorrow.
The muscle power,our beauty which we thing as our asset may diminish tomorrow.
Our source of income , our property what we think as our strength may turn away tomorrow.So we should make earnest attempt to do good karma's.Adopt good thoughts in mind so that we can have less chances of doing bad karma's.Inspite of odd's today we should try to adopt good values in life so that our future will be good.
Past is past its not in our hand , future no one knows what is going to happen.So only thing we have with us is present.So we should try to use it in right direction.

AVATARS

Avatar means descent of supreme power in human form.
First of all i surrender myself to supreme power and i ask sorry for taking up this topic as blog.
Because a person who understands purpose and glory of a avatar is avatari himself.
Many big saints and sages have attempted to explain glory of many avatar's and still they claim they could not comprehend the glory and purpose of avatar.
If this is the condition what am i going to explain???

This post is an attempt to give glimpse to a topic which itself is bigger then oceans...
One of poet explains "To write down glory of avatar even if all sky is made as paper and all trees on earth are used as pen and all water in ocean is used as ink ,its not enough".

Some communities claim avatars as godly recognized souls and some communities claim avatars as god himself in human form.Lets not fall in argument of this definition.For lay mans like us avatar is some higher power in human form.So lets start our journey to know tip of ice berg.

Lord Krishna say's in geeta,

"Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya , Glanirbhavati Bharata,
Abhyutanam ahdarmasaya tadatmanam srijamyaham
Paritranaya sadhunam,vinashayacha diskritam,
Dharma samstha panarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge"

whenever righteousness is in danger , whenever saintly people are in trouble , to uphold the path of Dharma i myself incarnate time to time.
Here "i" doesn't means only lord krishna of mahabharata.Here "i" means the supreme power.Because lord has taken human forms on this earth even before Kirshna avatar also.

Avatars can happen in two ways...
One kind of avatar is "whenever close devotee of lord is in trouble or whenever his creation is in danger because of evil power he descents in some form and protects them by destroying evil power". Vamana avatar , matsya avatar , Narasimha avatar ..etc are examples of such avatars.

Secondly when entire cosmos is in trouble because of unrighteousness , when entire mankind has forgot his duty ( swa Dharma) god descents in human form , be with us whole of his life and sets examples and teaches us.Such avatars are called "Poornavatara". Rama , krishna , shirdi sai baba and presently Sathya sai baba ...are examples of poornavatar's.

Now doubt may arise , why should god come in human form and take one life time to transform the society??Why cant he change the entire mankind into good people just in a second??or why cant he kill evil people in no time??
cant he do so???Yes , he can do... he can do any thing...But he wont do so!!
Any change brought suddenly is not permanent.There is law of karma ( rules of action and reaction) defined and governed by himself, so how can he go against his own laws??

God wants us to get transformed.So he takes human form , takes birth as normal human being.
With patience he waits us to get transformed.He himself takes pain and show the path..how to lead life."His life will be his message". Just for people to know that he is supreme power descended as human he performs some divine leelas ( miracles).Just he uses miracles are drum cards to attract people on path of godliness.Slowly but surely he starts transforming mankind.
Few fortunate who recognizes avatar at early stages will slowly become his divine instruments.
Through these instruments he will start operating his mission.

Not all will be fortunate to understand avatars.Its only his "will" which works.He chooses whom to give and when to give darshan , sparshana and sambhashana.
And many people will have critics about him , many people come against his mission, many people discourage him...its all part of his drama.

Is always true from kirshnavatar , not all people will recognize him as god.It was only pandavas who took krishna as god.Kauravas coudn't understand his divinity.
Ravana could not recognize Rama.
And history repeats.Even today when lord himself has come on this earth as Sri Sathya Sai Baba, how many people accept him as avatar??

Not all flowers in tree will become fruits at once.so also not all souls will get close proximity of avatars/gurus at once.

Many times baba tells "Its because of your past good karmas today you are enjoying my darshan,I have a mission and only my chosen instruments will have a role to play".

MYSTERIES OF MIND

In our day to day life many times we keep on telling like.."My Mind is disturbed",
"I am not able to concentrate"...bla bla bla...
But the funniest thing is that we don't know where is Mind???
Take a moment and think for a while where exactly is mind in our body??

To operate or control any instrument first we need to understand what it is?what it can do , what it cant do, what are its capabilities.Similarly unless we understand what is mind and its nature we cant capture art of controlling mind.
What is Mind?
As cloth is bundle of threads interlaced so is mind bundle of thoughts and desires.
If we keep on removing threads from cloth one after other there will be no Cloth remaining,so also if we keep on reducing thoughts or desires there will be no mind left.

On an average for a human being 40,000 thoughts come to mind per day.
Mind always keeps on jumping from one thought to another so only human mind is refered to Monkey Mind.
Mind is suppose to control five senses ie Eye,Ear,tongue,Nose and Skin.
Senses are organs of body which are meant for communication with external world.
So the basic characteristic of senses is to run behind worldly objects.
So only God has blessed us with Mind which can control senses.
But when we start going against this protocol ie when Senses starts controlling mind or when mind fails to control senses it leads to disasters.
What is mind for me?
Every time we refer some things which belongs to us as "My" example my watch , my shirt..etc
So here we see these objects are some thing which belongs to me.Means i am not these objects.Study proper relation between Me and Mine.
So also we refer My Hand , My Eye , My Mind...etc
So what it means is Mind and all other senses are organs belonging to me , but i am not these.
I am owning these Organs.In other words these are instruments given by God to me.
Is Mind Good or Bad?
If some one puts a simple question, Is Knife Good or Bad ??
what will be our answer?
We can it depends who uses it.If its given to a dacoit he uses it to kill some one.If given to a surgeon he will save life of a person.
So knife is just a instrument.It depends on how we are handling it.
Similarly mind is good servant if we control it,or else its a bad master.
In Geeta Krishna tells "If controlled Mind is best friend of soul(Atma),if not its worst of enemy".
World is projection of Mind
Our ancient text says "Mano Moolam Idam Jagat" meaning "The World is Projection of Mind".
What ever the world we see , we smell , we touch , we taste ,we hear is just projection of mind.
In other words we can say the world exists because mind exists.
"If no mind then no world".Ammhhhh difficult to digest??
yes i do agree its tough to believe because of false impressions we are carrying from generations about this material world.
I may not be able to make this subject completely clear but i will try to throw some more light on this topic.
Say now when we are awake we see things , we touch table ,we smell food ..etc and also if some one praises us we feel happy ,if some one blames us we feel sad.i,e we react to words and emotions.Now all this communication with external world happens via Senses.Mind gets electrical signals for all senses and creates a image/sound/taste/smell of world in brain.
We expirence all such things because of mind.
Don't agree ? Now you may ask question that if its because of mind , then what for these senses are?Senses give some input so only mind will come to know.
Now to make this clear we will consider one more state of mind ie dream state.
In dream we experience every things same what we experience when we are awake.Mind will be happy/sad , mind can taste , smell ,touch..etc in spite of no other senses working.
Now take third case where in we are in deep sleep.Now in this state we are neither happy nor sad.we neither smell , touch ,taste any thing.Because in this state there is no mind working.
This makes the point clear that for mind is responsible not the senses for expirencing the world.Mind creates image of world.
So whatever impressions we have about society , people , ourselves are just mind created impressions and they need not be true.
As always we see parents never admit there child is wrong, they always have impression that there kid is good and his friends are spoiling him.Similarly thoughts/impressions that take birth in our mind are our own children's and we always have
impression that they are correct.
Mind is a Key
Vishnu purana says "Mana eva Manushyanam Karana Bhandha Mokshayoh".Mind is responsible for Liberation and bondage.
Mind is like a Key.If we turn key inwards it locks and if we turn it outwards it unlocks.Similarly if we turn our mind towards senses we get bonded to material world and if we turn our mind away from senses we get liberated.
Here turning towards senses means ,not controlling senses, or listening to what our senses say.So we develop more attachment towards material world and in turn develop more and more desires towards it get struck in it.
Turning mind away from senses means to control them.To be a better judge and decide "what my senses are asking should i give it"?? By doing so we become master of our senses and better utilize our mind in fruitful activities.
Once we master our Mind we will become Master Mind.

Namasmaran(Chanting his holy name)

Namasmaran is act of chanting holy name/mantra of Lord.

Once maharshi vyasa told to group of sages who came to him that "How fortunate are those destined to be born in Kali Yuga (dark age),It is easy to win grace of lord only by doing namasmaran,as compared to other ages where in rigorous penance is prescribed".

Benifits of Doing Namasmaran as told by Bhagavan himself:

a) The best antidote for all ills.
b) The boat that will take accross sea of births and deaths.
c) Will give you consolation , courage and the true perspective.
d) The fountain of primal enegry.
e) Since its inner activity,it helps inner transformation.
f) will keep the antics of mind under control.
g) Nearness to God is attainable.
h) Prarabdha(previous birth effects) will melt away like fog before sun.
i) Vitamin G which is required for nutrition of Mind.
j) Withdraws the mind from sensory tangle.

Event Science shows that by doing Namasmaran all ill idea's , bad impressions from sub-conscious mind can be removed.This method is called "deflection method".

what name to chant??

Select any name and form you like for all names and form are his.
what ever name and form we are comfortable with can be choosen.As bhagavan tells "There is only one God and he is Omnipresent".
Do not talk ill of other names and form.Behave like woman in joint family.
She always servers and respects all elders in her family but her heart is dedicated to her husband whom she loves and revers in special manner.
If we are sincere then we should appreciate sincerity of others too.

Methods of Doing Namasmaran:-

There are mainly two ways of doing Namasmaran.
One doing by holding JapaMala(Rosary) in hand and counting beeds.
Or else one can do without rosary.

Usualy Rosaray will contain 108 beeds.So we can do japa in multiples of 108's.
The reason for rosary containing 108 beeds is that, a human being does respiration 21600 times a day.
And our saints and sages have found out we chant "Soo Hamm" unknowingly when we breath.
when we inhale we chant Sooo, and when we exhale we chant Hamm.English translation of Soham is "I am That".
Means we unknowgly chant that "I am That", ie i am the supreme Soul.
So its multiples of 108.ie 108 * 200 = 21600.


In both the methods , any name selected should be chanted in mind and form of Lord should be seen infront of mental eye's.

When to Do :-

As such there is no timing for doing namasmaran, it can be done anytime , anywhere.
But saints and sages recommend to do namasmaran during 4 Am to 6 Am.
But since Namasmaran is a mental work we can do it even while doing any other work.
Bhagavan always tells "Dil mein Ram , hath mein Kaam" , meaning Have holy name of Lord rama in heart and do your work.

Some suggested Names/Mantras for chanting:-

a) Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram.
b) Hare Krishna ,Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare.
c) Om Sai Ram
d) Om Namaha Shivaya
e) Gayatri Mantra
f) OM
g) Om Namo Narayanaya

Does God Exist??

Does God really exist ????
Many times in our life we come across this question.
Does god really exist ??? what is proof for his existence ???

Here is just an attempt to show existence of God.
Whenever we see some beautiful paintings , dress , computer , Electronics Gadgets we wonder
how they are made.And if some one tells you that these came just out of nothing do we agree??
No !!!.
There must be some one who has made them look so beautiful , or work so precisely.

If there is a object ,there must be a creator for it.

Now think of huge cosmos,Galaxies , sun , Moon , planets ,star's.
All these things are so perfectly placed and are made to work round the clock without even minute failure.
I think we never heard things like "Some days back sun didn't rise" or "some days back earth didnt rotate".
Come lets take a close look at place where we stay i,e our planet earth as compared to other planets.
1) Earth is the only planet with Good mixture of Oxygen , nitrogen and all other Gases in perfect portion.
2) Earth is perfectly positioned from sun. If earth moves just 0.0001% of its distance towards sun it will burn off,
and if it moves 0.0001% away from sun earth will be get freeze.
3) Earth maintains this distance constantly even while rotating around along its axis causing all its surface warmed and cooled properly.
4) Moon is placed at perfect distance from earth causing ocean ways to tide yet not to spill over all continent.
5) Most part of earth is covered with water which is colorless , odorless and tasteless but still no living being can leave without it.
6) Most of water is salty , but still nature has a perfect process of taking this sea water and distributing pure water thought the globe.
7) Water can travel against gravity in plants supplying minerals even till top of tall trees.
8) Water gets freeze from top down and floats ,allowing life in water even in winters.
you think such a huge system was created by chance???
This entire system is maintained just automatically???
Can there be such creation with zero defect without a creator????
Just think for a while!!!!!

Scientists can just tell some theories about evolution and sustenance of cosmos and life. But no one answers basic question Where did space, time, matter and energy come from in the first place?.
Even great theory of Charles Darwin is disqualified now.

Now just think of ourself , all are body organs are so perfectly organized.
Just think of capacity of Human brain ? , functioning of heart , kidney ..etc..
You think just these things were created by chance????

Just think for a while about this magnificent creation ...how perfectly its been designed and sustained.
There must be some power which is controlling all these things. And more over just think for whom its been created??? Its just for us. Because he loves us.

Vedas Simplified

Many people aspiring the path of Spirituality,will be intrested to know our ancient texts like Vedas ,updanishad's.But we all know,its not easy to read and digest the meaning proclaimed by them.So the easiest way to understand them is to know about the lives of Saints.By doing so we will get message of vedas,for Saints have reaped it; they have gone on the spiritual track, and they have realized it.
All the teachings of our ancient texts will be highlightned in daily practises of saints.
Best to mention are ,their love for every one , no hatred towards any one, sense of service ,adherence to human values,detachment towards worldy possessions,surrenderness, faith in almighty...etc

Try to imbibe their teachings and practise them,as they are itself Vedas simplified for us.
